Move In:
If you just moved in and you haven't put the utilities in your name, remember, all applicable utilities must be in the tenants name for the entire lease period. Board of Water & Light is the electric company, their number is (517)702-6006. Consumers Energy is the gas company, their number is (800)477-5050. The City of East Lansing is the water/sewage provider, however, you do not need to contact them, we put the bill in your name for you. The water bill will be sent to your property every 3 months.
Bedroom Locks:
If you would like a lock on your bedroom contact us to make arrangements. Each lock is $20. Prior to contacting us, talk with your roommates to determine how many total locks you'd like and whether you'd like any of them to be matching. We encourage matching locks to prevent lock outs.
Security Deposit:
If you recently moved out, please email us a forwarding address for where you'd like the deposit refund sent. Keep in mind, we only mail 1 check for the group, so discuss this with your roommates and determine who that person will be. The person receiving the check must be a tenant who moved out. Checks, along with an itemized list of damages, are mailed within 30 days from the end of your lease.
Leasing for 2025-26: (1st day of leasing date TBD)
Leasing for '25-26 will begin soon. In the meantime, click on the AVAILABLE HOUSING link below for a complete list of our properties. Pricing will be added in the coming weeks. Please keep in mind, this list will change leading up to the 1st day as our current tenants do have the 1st right to re-sign. We will update availability as tenants re-sign and continuously throughout leasing season. For this reason, and due to the number of people looking for housing at this time, we highly recommend having several options.
